About Dreaming

I'm a dreamer. In the eighties, writing down dreams was the thing to do. There were many books written about lucid dreaming and dream symbols. I kept a dream journal, writing the details when I awoke each morning. I didn't know what my dreams meant, but I was intrigued by the symbols. In the nineties, I worked with a Jungian therapist who helped me to interpret my dreams. She said that all the images in a dream reflected myself. Each person has individual meanings to recurring symbols, and universal symbols also may apply. My therapist said that a dream can also be about daily life and also, it can be prophetic. Pay attention to your dreams (both daydreams and nightdreams). You can easily see what you are working on in your life by observing your psyche's symbols. You can remedy a stuck situation by by taking action in your dream. For instance, if the sink is clogged in the dream, unclog it. Then see what changes outwardly in your life. Have fun!
